Digital governance counsel for companies building, scaling and operating across Europe. AI, data and cyber treated as one business system, with international-firm standards and a Budapest base.

I advise international businesses, regulated companies, scale-ups and technology teams when AI, data, cyber and product rules stop being separate legal questions and become one operating problem.

I am a Hungarian attorney-at-law and Counsel. I head an IT, Data & Cyber practice in Budapest. My work typically sits between headquarters and regional teams, legal and compliance, product, security, procurement and HR. The businesses involved range from founders and SaaS scale-ups to multinational groups in life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, logistics, retail, e-commerce and digital platforms.

For US and Western European groups operating in the EU, Budapest offers a useful combination: international-firm standards, close senior involvement, practical knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe, and a proportionate delivery model for cross-border programmes.

Digital compliance is an ecosystem, not a statute list. GDPR, the AI Act, NIS2, DORA, the CRA, DSA, the Data Act, ePrivacy, accessibility, consumer and employment rules often touch the same systems, vendors, evidence and failure modes. My work is to make them run as one operating layer: clear ownership, workable process and an audit trail, not a shelf of parallel folders.

The thesis behind this journal follows from that, and I hold it with conviction: rules can be delayed, accountability cannot. Companies that treat the rulebook as accountability infrastructure ship faster than companies that treat it as paperwork. The long version is the Accountability Gap.

"…one of the most impressive lawyers in Hungary" for his knowledge of AI, regulatory and privacy matters.
The Legal 500, editorial commentary, 2026

What this site is: a personal field journal, essays, notes and the occasional aside, written in my own name and my own time. What it is not: a law firm, a service page or a channel for instructions. Client mandates run through my professional practice; that route, and everything else, is on the contact page.

The operating thesis

Rules can be delayed.
Accountability cannot.

Governance is not the paperwork around the system. It is how the system remains explainable when the room gets difficult.
